Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Trevor Archer

Candidate for
Member of the State Assembly; District 83

This information is provided by the candidate

The people of the 83rd AD need a voice. We need real representation and leadership. There are services and resources we need in the community that we don't have. I'm running for State Assembly so that I can give voters another choice, and get them involved in growing our community together.

I want my neighbors to know that I'll be there to listen to their concerns, ideas and suggestions in order to fight for them in Albany. I'll hold regularly scheduled meetings with the community. I'll work with the Assembly to ensure that legislation benefits our community and that funding for various programs is administered fairly and openly.

Citizens need to become more involved with their communities and the issues that affect their lives and the lives of their families. One way to do that is to run for public office. This gives you the opportunity to voice your concerns and opinions, as well as those you represent, and to go from just complaining about what needs to be changed to actually having the tools and resources to make those changes.
