As a self-supporting teen, I worked my way off welfare and on to success. In a four decade career I advised employers from the Fortune 500 to start-ups and charities how to brand and market themselves, attract talent, develop workforces and plan strategically for organizational achievement in a global economy.

I co-founded a staffing services chain honored internationally. Retired early, I volunteer in myriad community services including Library Foundation Board. Since 1994, my biography has appeared in Who's Who In the World.

Why does all this matter to you? Because it confirms I have the skills, determination, and scope of life and business experience to help solve Cloverdale's critical economic and quality of life challenges and help inaugurate a more hands-on, goal-driven, responsive government with planning that prevents fiscal and resource "surprises."

I will work to: bring fresh energy, creative insights and a can do attitude to City Hall; mitigate cookie cutter architecture and formulaic retail; preserve environmental beauty while building a vigorous, distinctive local economy without a casino; identify youth activity funding sources; network throughout our region and beyond to boost Cloverdale's reputation as a family-friendly shopping, arts and event hub.
