Candidate for
Board Member; North Sonoma County Hospital District

The Healdsburg District Hospital provides important services to our community and I am pleased to have the opportunity to run for a North Sonoma County Hospital District Board seat.

I am a graduate engineer, worked in the construction industry for 30 years, and was a CEO of a technology company. My wife Sue and I have lived in Healdsburg since 2000; however we became acquainted with the area in the early 1980's and fell in love with it immediately.

Several years ago, I began working with the Board in various Hospital functions such as Chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee, Treasurer, member of the Business Plan Development Committee and presently as Project Manager for the Emergency Department Addition. In these roles, I have directly contributed to the Hospital's financial turnaround.

The Business Plan is the key to the Hospital's future. The new Emergency Department, ICU, 24/7 surgery and our efforts to attract more doctors to our community are critical elements of the Plan. I will use my business experience and knowledge of the Hospital to help implement these strategies.
