Candidate for Director; Nipomo Community Services District

This information is provided by the candidate
Some of the things that qualify me to lead the NCSD & accomplish it's major goals in 2006 to 2010
The community of Nipomo served by the NCSD and the rest of the Arroyo Grande/ Nipomo mesa will be best served by my election to the NCSD Board of Directors because: I bring 10 years experience as a past board member & President. I have worked with my good friends Northern California sewer maintence service company. Roy' Sewer Service. I have helped pump septic tanks, helped TV sewer systems and clean major sewers & drains and worked with larger commercial hydro- flushers. When ever I have had a problem I need an answer to. Roy is a great source of information. I have also assisted in drilling wells and other functions of water storage and water production. I have had my own small water co. I am a current well owner and a NCSD customer. I bring knowledgeable cost-effective leadership that has a proven tract record of lower consumer rates and overall operating costs. I was the major driving force that changed NCSD from renter to owner status with the building of the present NCSD office & community building. I have also served 2 years on the State of California Special Districts Ass. As the representative of State District #4 of CSDA. I represented 9 of the central counties including San Luis Obispo. I was on the powerful legislative committee that was instrumental in hammering out an agreement with the Governor to get local tax funds taken by the State returned to Counties, Cities, and local CSD's. Two years ago I was the sole Vote against the hiring of the recently departed NCSD General Manager. It took the 4 remaining members of the NCSD board 2 years and a lot of ratepayers money to rectify that mistake. I have always worked to do what is right for the residents of Nipomo & with your help & support I will continue to do so. BB
