The Educational Needs of All Students Must Be Addressed.

By Sandra J "Sandy" Dabasinskas

Candidate for Board Member; Escondido Union High School District

This information is provided by the candidate
Several solutions have been suggested by our current board.
1. Look at the concept of small "schools within a school"
2. Create Magnet schools.
3. Develop an "early college" high school in partnership with Palomar College.

The best decisions must be made now for the good of all the students in our district. As a twenty-eight year resident of Escondido and as a retired eighteen-year employee of the EUHSD, I want to have an active part in making the decisions facing the board.

I am the best candidate for this position. Because of my consistent thriteen years of atttendance at the high school board meetings, I have knowledge of what has happened within the District. My leadership abilities make me able to represent the community of Escondido as decisions are made for the students in our community, and I am always open to new ideas. I care about what happens to the students in our district.
