If you believe, as I do, that the future rests in all of our hands, and that we have an abundance of choice, opportunity, and obligation to create a path to it, then I would appreciate a moment of your time to read this letter.

I am running because I believe that education, specifically primary public education in this country represents a golden moment of opportunity.

Regardless of whether you have children, or yours are grown and gone, ensuring a dynamic, progressive, and challenging education for the minds that will someday shape our future binds all of us to the same cause.

  • My expertise lies in building successful teams of people directed towards a common goal.

  • I believe in creating consensus decisions by including people in the process and sharing information.

  • Any government process must be completely transparent to its citizens.

  • I value the contributions of our Teachers, Parents, and Administrators.

  • I will take a leadership role in creating a dynamic and innovative model for what is possible in public education today.

Our district is blessed with an amazing talent pool of creative, committed, and passionate educators and parents. I believe we have a great opportunity to harness these resources to build a future that all of us, and especially our children, can be proud of.

I am not a politician, and do not claim to have all of the answers. I am committed to listening, learning, and doing my best to help realize the true potential of our schools. I would be honored to have your vote on November 7th.

Thank you for your time, and please remember that your vote counts.
