Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Becky Lopey-McDaniel

Candidate for
Director; Rio Linda-Elverta Recreation and Park District

This information is provided by the candidate

It's simple...... My political philosophy is to not have one.

Running for the Park Board is a personal and professional passion. I believe in family, programming, park development and the vision of our park district. As a recreation professional, I know the importance of clean parks, solid programming, planning, and people.

Our community will benefit from my many years in the field of recreation as I will work diligently with my fellow board members to establish community workshops to hear what residents want in new and existing parks.

As a soccer coach for the local AYSO, I am fully aware of the need for better fields, and more of them. Our Little League and Bobby Sox organizations are also in need of additional space and quality facilities. These needs are not political as there is no need for politics in recreation.

My political philopsphy will always be to listen to residents, fellow board members, and staff because 'Together Everyone Achieves More."

Thank you!
