Occupation:
NARAL Pro Choice California Political Director

Education and Qualifications:
As a teacher, school counselor and principal, I have dedicated my professional life to ensuring that all students obtain an education that allows them to reach their highest potential. Marin's schools are honored as being among the nation's best. As a Trustee on the Sausalito-Marin City School Board, I will ensure that our children have the same outstanding educational opportunities as the rest of the County.

During my year and a half on the Board, I have worked to keep the focus on teaching and learning, and I believe we have made some good progress. In addition, during my time on the Board, I have closely monitored how our tax dollars are being spent building the new middle school, with classrooms being my priority. A new superintendent and principal have been hired. Both of these educational leaders have experience and excellent track records improving student achievement. I will support this new team in setting high expectations for staff and students alike. I will work to ensure that teachers and students have the resources to achieve those expectations.

We have made some progress but there is still much work to be done.

I appreciate your vote on November 7th.
