I am socially liberal and fiscally conservative. I believe that local politics should be non-partisan, although I am a registered Democrat. My general plans, if elected, are:

· First priority is generate detailed budget needs summary, then consider plan for funding and economies to resolve City Revenue and Budget problems identified. · Revitalize the declining economic base of the community to increase City revenue sources. · Restore Public Safety positions, City services and employee compensation levels. · Implement approved projects without delay. · Create a five-year capital improvement budget for infrastructure improvements. · Regularize Council meeting agenda planning so that policy is considered in a timely way. · Bring civility to City Council, motivate and improve communication with boards and commissions. · Streamline permits, procedures and processes. · Provide balance in appointments to Boards and Commissions.
