Measure U. Continuation of Utility Users Tax -- City of Eureka (Majority Approval Required)

Shall an ordinance be adopted to continue the current utility users tax for four years, provided that low income families are exempted from the tax, and that annual financial audits are conducted to assure that the general tax is propertly collected and used for essential services such as police, fire, street maintenance, and parks and recreation?

Measure V. Business License Fees -- City of Blue Lake (Majority Approval Required)

In order to provide additional revenues to the general fund, a fund that is used to support parks and recreation, public safety, and road programs among other things, shall the City Council of the City of Blue Lake adopt Ordinance 483 which updates the business license fee structure within the City of Blue Lake, a fee structure which has not changed since 1989?

Shall Fortuna Union Elementary School District Modernize classrooms, including improvements to electrical systems; improvements to classrooms including replacement of windows and cabinetry; replacement of floor and wall coverings; make health and safety improvmeents including new restrooms; and construct a new middle school by issuing $3,900,000 of bonds at interest rates below the legal limit?

Measure Y. Bonds -- Jacoby Creek School District (55% Approval Required)
Fail: 678 / 46.28% Yes votes ...... 787 / 53.72% No votes
Shall the Jacoby Creek Charter School District replace temporary portable classrooms with new permanent facilities by issuing $2.5 million of bonds at interest reates within legal limits and with citizen oversight?
