My Priorities if Elected

Enhance Our Quality of Life

"Elected to the Community Services District (CSD) Board, I will work to ensure that future development of community sports facilities, neighborhoods, and parks enhance El Dorado Hills' quality of life and values of our homes."

  • We need to work with county officials and developers to help deliver premier sports and recreational facilities for our growing population.
  • We need to explore how can we simplify registration for our youth sports programs. Instead of visiting 5 different websites for five different sports, the CSD can act as a centralized hub for key information, registration and game schedules.
  • To support the growing number of parents who frequently or permanently work from home, we need wireless internet capacity (Wi-Fi) in existing and future community parks.
  • We need to strictly enforce a set of use rules in parks with nighttime lighting.

Fiscal Responsibility

"As a businessman and fiscal conservative, I believe government must provide high quality services to the taxpayers while operating efficiently and effectively. On the CSD, I will work to ensuring that our parks and common areas are well maintained and that we are properly prepared to meet the growing needs of our community. And, I will vigorously oppose any attempt to raise taxes."

  • We need hold the line on increasing taxes and honor our commitments.
  • We need to work with Federal, State and County Government officials to help develop a comprehensive community services plan that will meet the need of our growing population.
  • We need to develop partnerships with local business and non-profit organizations to develop the financial resources and facilities that meet the needs of our growing senior community.

Safer Parks and Communities

"Felons convicted of preying upon children often are released back into residential neighborhoods, including here in El Dorado County. That's why we need to be informed and protect ourselves."

  • We need to work closely with local law enforcement to develop a community-wide rapid response in case of emergency.
  • Make the Community Services District (CSD) a catalyst for grassroots initiatives that support neighborhood watch programs and curb excessive speeding.
