County Clerk-Recorder-Assessor; County of Sonoma

Currently, as Chief Deputy Assessor, I am responsible for all operations at the Sonoma County Assessors Office, including managing over 75 staff members. I am a Certified General Appraiser - California Office of Real Estate Appraisal, and a member of the International Association of Assessment Officers. I have successfully served under the last four Sonoma County Assessors.

A Sonoma County native, I am active in both the Cardinal Newman & Ursuline Dads' Clubs. I have coached soccer in the Northwest Oaks Club and am a member of the Rotary Club of Santa Rosa, where I chair Interact, the sports committee and contribute to Rotary Dictionary Project.

My wife, Joan, a teacher, and I have two children: Kyle, who is studying at UC Davis, and Michelle, who is a sophomore in high school.

The following have endorsed my candidacy: Sheriff Bill Cogbill, Santa Rosa Mayor Jane Bender, Councilmembers Janet Condron, Mike Martini and John Sawyer; Petaluma City Councilmembers Mike Harris, Keith Canevaro, and Karen Nau, and former Mayor Clark Thompson; Windsor Councilmember Warin Parker, Rohnert Park Councilmember Vickie Vidak-Martinez, Sonoma Councilmember Stanley Cohen, Healdsburg Councilmember Jason Liles, and Santa Rosa School Board Members Donna Jeye and Wally Lowry.
