We face difficult fiscal challenges in San Luis Obispo County. The state is taking revenues from cities and counties to balance the state budget while our own financial obligations and responsibilities continue to increase.
Our County needs a Treasurer who will:
- Oversee our investment portfolio for best returns
- Work with state legislatures to restore state funding of its take-aways
- Work with other county officials to make our county run more efficiently
My 35 years' experience in business and financial planning in the private sector are sorely needed in county government. We need new ideas from independant thinkers who are not afraid of change. I am supported by thousands of local residents who feel the same way.
