Katcho was born in Lebanon to Armenian parents on June 2nd, 1951. He fluently speaks English, Armenian and Arabic and has a basic knowledge of French and Turkish. Katcho is a graduate of both Cuesta Community College, AA Degree 1973 and Cal Poly, BS Degree in Business Administration, 1976. He has resided in the County of San Luis Obispo, California since 1971 and was awarded United States Citizenship on December 17th, 1982.
