  • Donna Schalansky is a native Californian and has resided in the Carmichael area for 28 years. She is a Meeting & Events Planner. She has been active in the Republican Party since 1966 and has served as the Chairman of the Sacramento County Republican Party since 1995. She served as Vice President of the County Chairman's Association of the California Republican Party from 1997 to 2002.

  • In addition to consulting on state-wide, state legislative, and local campaigns in California and Texas, Donna has served in State Government for 11 years as Consultant to several State Senators, the Senate Republican Caucus and the Assembly Republican Caucus.

  • Donna Schalansky represents the 3rd District on the Carmichael Community Planning Council. She served as a Director on the Carmichael Recreation and Park District from 1993 to 2003, and has served as Chairman of the Carmichael Community Planning Advisory Council in 1992 and 1993, having served on the Council from 1988. She also served on the Sheriff's Citizen's Advisory Panel for District 2, and is a founding member of the North Area Teen Center in Carmichael.

  • Donna has been active in the Fair Oaks and Carmichael communities and is a member of the Sacramento County Taxpayers League, the National and California Associations of Parliamentarians, the Carmichael Chamber of Commerce, as well as other political and civic organizations.

  • Through Donna Schalansky's leadership, the Sacramento County Republican Party has established a year-round headquarters, developed an on-going voter registration program that has registered thousands of new Republicans, and created an extensive precinct organization. Her experience has guided the county party's successful "Get-Out-The-Vote" effort that has resulted in the election of the county's Republican officeholders in the Congress, State Legislature, and over 51% of the non-partisan offices in Sacramento County.
