I have 28 years of experience in this office and since January 2005 I've served as your Assessor/County Clerk/Recorder. I'm proud of the job I and my staff have done in providing outstanding service to you, our customers.

We live in one of the fastest growing counties in the nation and our office manages an assessment roll of over $167 billion. We have 7 public service offices conveniently located throughout the county along with a 24-hour automated telephone system and an interactive website. Customer service is my number one priority.

Riverside has been my home for over 35 years. After serving a tour of duty in Viet Nam with the United States Air Force, I obtained a B.A. degree from California State University San Bernardino. I am a 2002 graduate of Leadership Riverside and an alumnus of the Riverside County Leadership Initiative.

I am active in several professional and civic organizations including California Assessors' Association, County Recorders' Association of California, Chamber of Commerce, Riverside Kiwanis, and Grace Community Church. My wife Nora and I have four children and one granddaughter.
