TRUE REPUBLICAN CONSERVATIVE

By Ken L. Williams, Jr

Candidate for Republican Party Central Committee; County of Orange; Assembly District 60

This information is provided by the candidate
Dr. Williams is only one of a few handful of locally elected officials who is not afraid to say the truth that the Republican party has lost its moral compass in embracing Gov. Schwarzenegger's administration and reforms
Dr. Ken Williams is a board certified family physician, sworn law enforcement officer in the OC Sheriff's reserve division, and native of Orange County. His interest and involvement in public policy and political affairs began in 1994, when working with the American Conservative Union in Washington, D.C., he helped defeat Hilary Clinton's plan for a government healthcare system. After the sucessful defeat of this planned government medical system, he continued as a physician, father, husband, and public servant to strengthen the family and advocate traditional and proven public policies. He has testified before the State Senate on public health and educational issues, and has defended family values in newspaper columns and editorials, television and radio. His core values are:

Government- "Government is best when it governs the least. When creating or implementing public policies I fully support a smaller and more effecient government where people depend upon individuals rights and responsibilties."

Taxes- "I do not support any tax increases and will never vote to burden our future generations with more government. I support President Bush's tax reduction plan, an extension of the marriage penalty relief credit, elimination of the inheritance tax, and an increase in the per-child tax credit."
