Revenues and Energy

By James Joaquin Morrison

Candidate for Council Member; City of San Diego; District 2

This information is provided by the candidate
The interplay of revenues and energy on the residents, communities, businesses and the city budget.
Revenues going to the city budget are an important part of the community. Businesses need to thrive and grow, to produce jobs, with the increase in the city budget, the city has the money to put in to community for deferred maintenance and upgrades, thus completing the circle.

Energy costs are a detriment to the local economy, it takes money away from local residents that would otherwise be spent on goods and services from local businesses, also their costs go up too.

Business revenues that would go to the city budget decrease, there by essential city services and repairs in the community suffer.

A powerplant takes at the least 7 years to build and to go on line. We need help now with technology that is available off the shelf and ready to go, which is solar electric panels. This will maintain the local economies momentum.
