A New Airport for San Diego -- Fifty Years is Long Enough
Strong leadership from the 2nd Council District is necessary to help resolve the issue of relocating Lindbergh Field in a process that is transparent, unhindered by outside interests, and unfettered by bureaucratic roadblocks.
Resolving San Diego's Fiscal Crisis
Eliminating the pension debt is the first obligation of the City Council so that San Diego can move forward. This must be accomplished through contract renegotiations and by due consideration of bankruptcy declaration. The culture of secrecy must be eliminated so that San Diegans regain confidence in their elected officials and the origins of their decision-making.
