Supporting our local troops.Hiring more Police is definitely very important, getting them the funds they need would be a top priority while I am in office. The fire department needs to be properly funded so that they have the latest and greatest when it comes to equipment and that the current equipment is properly maintained. Obviously the Police department is now hiring after a hiring freeze, so that is a plus, I will continue to ensure that they have they have their proper funding, and further look into the salary situation. San Diego is one of the most expensive places to live and there are several other cities that have higher pay than San Diego, that should change. |
