"I feel that Lisa Simon will be an excellent board member because of her commitment to education. She is the parent of two children in San Luis Coastal Unified School District and she is an educator herself. In addition she has a background in finance and management. What else could you ask for in a candidate? I have great confidence in her ability to deal with the public and the professionals in our district. I have known her for many years and I know that she is a caring and intelligent person who will serve her community."
