Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Paso Robles Joint Unified School District

I am more often called Walt. I enjoy being a part of the decision making process and usually fit right in because I have no ax to grind. I would assume the position as a team member giving proper respect for other people and their ideas. I am never quick to discount what a person is saying or try to hurry up the process because something important is easily overlooked. Many of our problems occur due to poor planning and I think the next few years will be real challenging due to economic conditions, immigration and possibly due to out-migration. So, I hope to be at least active and a part of the solution.

If I were asked to choose areas of concern, that would be attendnace problems and Bearcat Boosters. However I will focus on anything our chairperson might direct me to as being of benefit to the whole board.
