TIMOTHY M. SHELL Age: 43 Civil Engineer

I need your vote for TIMOTHY SHELL so I can represent your interests at Vallecitos Water District. I have the educational background, experience, and desire to bring a new perspective to the Board.

Education: I grew up in the Escondido area, attending local schools. I received a Civil Engineering degree from San Diego State, and earned a Government Management MBA degree from Cal State San Marcos. My education will help me serve you because I will ensure the District efficiently manages money that you pay monthly.

Experience: I began my engineering career at a consulting firm, designing projects for water districts. I then worked for the San Diego County Water Authority, the agency that sells water to Vallecitos, managing projects requiring coordination with the District, so I became familiar with the District's facilities and operation. I now manage projects for the City of Vista. My experience will help me understand technical issues and make informed decisions in your best interest.

As a husband and a father of two young children, I will bring a "family" perspective to the Water District Board. I will work hard to make a difference by reducing unnecessary spending to keep your water rates low.
