MIYO ELLEN REFF

BIOGRAPHY:

Miyo Ellen Reff is an experienced and successful leader. She has worked with parent groups, teachers, administrators, and the community over the last 14 years to improve our public schools. As a child, she learned the benefits of education from her father, a gardener, who knew that a good education opens up a world of opportunities. With the support of her family and the local public schools, Reff earned a scholarship to Stanford University and graduated with a B.S. in Medical Microbiology. She worked as a clinical laboratory scientist for over 20 years while raising two sons who attended the local public schools. Now that her children are of college age, Reff would like to devote her energy to the school board and help the next generation of students succeed.
