Candidate for Board Member; Ramona Community Planning Area

Experience and integrity in Planning
When Ramona voters choose neighbors to be their eyes, ears and spokesperson on our Planning Group, I would hope that deeds rather than rhetoric and statesments would guide your decision. As a former member of the RCPG, 1997-2000, I always involved the community in the decisions that were affecting Ramona. That was the way I was brought into the process and I passed that knowledge on to everyone who wanted to know and neighbors who did not know what was happening and needed to know. I learned, through a great deal of time and dedication, how the planning process works in our County. I informed neighborhoods about projects that would affect them personally. Correct planning considers the character of the community planning area. Ramona is a rural community. It requires rural planning. It requires individuals with an awareness & knowledge of what is being proposed in Ramona and the surrounding areas. It is this over view of the final impacts that creates good planning for the health, safety and welfare of all of us. I believe that the experience I have had allows me to continue to involve everyone in the future we will create for ourselves, our children and our grandchildren. It is that far reaching affect that requires truth and integrity in planning. I believe I meet those qualifications.
