For over 50 years I have been a student, a teacher, or both. I know the value of education and its importance for obtaining quality jobs. Nowadays I am concerned for students as our four-year universities are rapidly becoming more unaffordable and unobtainable. Community colleges remain the "safety net" for worthy students to advance in life to reach their full potential. With this educational crisis, I felt compelled to step up and to offer to help. Palomar College has a reputation for excellence that must be maintained as the school grows to meet this exploding demand for education or job retraining. The health of our communities depends on it!
