  • Occupation: Incumbent/Fire Battalion Chief
  • Board Member, San Miguel Consolidated Fire Protection District since 1996 with committee assignments of EMS, Communications and Consolidation
  • San Diego Fire Department - 33 years of fire department experience including the position of Deputy Fire Chief in charge of Operations
  • B. A. in Public Administration - San Diego State University
  • Fire Protection Administration Certificate - San Diego State University
  • Project Manager for SDFD grants totally $1.8 million for safety equipment, sharing grant infomation with San Miguel Fire Department
  • Resident of the Fire Protection District for the past 18 years and graduated from Grossmont High School in 1967
Top Priorities if Elected
  • Fiscal oversight of the District's finances including; preservation of revenue sources, managing expenses and fully funding reserve accounts
  • Complete the implementation of fire based Engine Company Paramedic Program to include a system ambulance for firefighter skill mantenance
  • Insure that the fire consolidation process enhances the delivery of fire and EMS service levels for our community through a dedicated funding source
