Community Colleges provide the first door for higher education.

Access should be completely open and available to all who want it.

Student transfers to four-year colleges should be guaranteed through an agreement process

Student fees should remain affordable to all

US history must be retained as a requirement for any Associate of Arts degree

Parity should apply to full- and part-time faculty

Funding for community colleges should be equalized so all districts receive comparable dollars for full-time equivalent students

Prop 98 funding for community colleges should be firmed and mandated as a percentage of the total, not decided each year by the legislature

Two more campuses should be built, one in Poway, the other in Fallbrook, consistent with the Palomar College Master Plan

Health sciences programs at Palomar College should expand including nursing as a first priority, and dental hygiene added to the dental assisting program.

The Palomar College Police and Fire Academy should maintain its full program to support the first responders' requirements
