Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Phil Nails

Candidate for
Director; Sacramento Municipal Utility District; Ward 5

This information is provided by the candidate

My life experience has always been about serving as a middleman to help people solve problems and/or obtain the goods and services they wanted or that they wanted to provide. This experience has given me a strong customer service ethic which has served me well during my career in politics.

Secondly I am not a ideologue. In almost all cases, I believe a problem is an opportunity to explore all solutions and that the process will normally lead to a choice that provides some satisfaction to most, if not all, parties. I believe strongly in the benefits that flow from negotiation and compromise.

If elected, I pledge that I will be accessible to all ratepayers of SMUD. I can be reached at 502-0395 if you have any questions. Thank you for considering my candidacy.
