A Short Candidate's Statement

By Margaret M. Trousdale

Candidate for Board Member; Anaheim Union High School District

This information is provided by the candidate
Reasons for Running
After years of attending CSULB and completing several educational goals, I now have the freedom to participate in the electoral process and serve my community in a very direct manner.

I am a dedicated teacher with a professional clear credential, a Masters in Education, and twelve years in the field.

I want to know and see how our more depressed schools can improve. I want some of our schools to revitalize their State commendations. I want all our schools to continue to strive for academic excellence.

Although this is my first time running for a public office, I feel that my skills are particularly needed because of the challenges AUHSD and our community are facing on the Eastside in overcrowding, passing the California High School Exit Exam, the No Child Left Behind Act, and the need for district cut backs.

Vote for me because I am a real schoolteacher who knows both the expections of the Department of Education and our federal legislation.

"A vote for TROUSDALE is a vote for students and parents."
