I was born at Saint Mary's Hospital in Long Beach on March 4th, 1960, and graduated Kennedy High School in La Palma in 1978.

I have been living in the local area since 1967, including Los Alamitos, La Palma, and the past 6 years in Cypress.

My wife Terri and I have 2 daughters, each graduating from Cypress High in 2002 and 2004.

My employer, Walter's Wholesale Electric, is the largest independent electrical distributor in So. California. I am their Pricing Manager at the corporate office, with a focus on company profit. I have been in the electrical industry for 26 years.

My father has taught me by example and continues to show me the importance of family and volunteerism. My Community Involvement includes: the Cypress Community Festival (Chair 2003, 2004; Treasurer 2000, 2001, 2002; Booth Committee Co-Chair 1999); Cypress High Grad Night 2002; PTA; Calvary Chapel usher; Cypress High Backstage Boosters 1999 - 2002, President 2001 & 2002; Cypress City Council candidate 1998; Habitat for Humanity Volunteer (Crew Leader in construction of 55+ homes, Construction / Design Committee, and Family Selection Committee); member of National Bone Marrow Registry; coordinated Red Cross Sept. 11 fundraiser; help with Samaritan's Purse Children's Christmas projects; help at Harvest Crusade; Focus on the Family Action member; Concerned Women for America member.

Habitat for Humanity is where I enjoy giving most of my time, giving families a "hand-up". I feel God has blessed me with a talent in design and construction so I want to share it. I look forward to the groundbreaking of the Cypress Habitat site so I can build close to home.

While on the Cypress City Council, I hope to bring a stronger sense of volunteerism to the community and will encourage groups to be open and welcoming to new members.
