I will strengthen public safety so our police officers can more aggressively fight crime, gangs and drugs in our community. My top priority will be to create additional funding sources for more police officers and to ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to handle any situation.

I will safeguard our neighborhoods by ensuring that any future growth in Anaheim is low density and consistent with our city's proud history. I will work for safe and improved parks, and create additional parks, recreation centers and sports complexes for all Anaheim residents.

I will restrain government spending by scrutinizing current expenditures and by identifying alternate sources of income to add to Anaheim's general without placing further burden on Anaheim's residents and business owners.
