Member, City Council; City of Garden Grove

Candidate statement:

Vote for Robin Marcario, a positive and approachable candidate, to serve on our City Council.

My husband and I have lived in Garden Grove for forty years and our two children, Dominic and Gianna, attend and are succeeding in our public schools.

I have traveled extensively in the United States,the South Pacific, Southeast Asia, and Europe. I have learned a second language and value the cultural diversity within our city.

I have a B.A. in Communications and intend to use my communication skills to educate, inform, and establish a clear direction for our city.

Open communication between residents and the business community will facilitate change we all can live with. I value our neighborhood associations and volunteer groups and believe they must be included in the decision making process.

I attend our City Council meetings and use my public speaking skills to express concerns regarding development in Garden Grove and the need for new parks.

The protection of our city neighborhoods, services (fire, police, schools), and infrastructure (streets, sewers) is vitally important to the preservation of the quality of life in Garden Grove.
