Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Bruce Garlich

Candidate for
Member, City Council; City of Costa Mesa

This information is provided by the candidate

WHY I'M RUNNING

1. To give back to my adopted hometown; the same reason I became a Planning Commissioner. As a kid I had no roots - I attended 5 elementary schools and 4 high schools in 8 cities and 5 states. I first moved to Costa Mesa in 1967 and have lived here over 32 years. My kids went to Adams and TeWinkle and Estancia. To finally have a hometown has special meaning to me; it's a big part of why I love our City and want to help make it better.
2. To give the voters a choice. I will represent all of Costa Mesa and all Costa Mesans; residents, business owners, and property owners alike. I have the experience and community involvement to tackle today's issues as well as tomorrow's issues; the ones we don't know about yet. I know how to do this job and I have a lot of time to do it!
