Position Papers
Reduce Traffic Congestion
  • Our traffic signals need better coordination. I am committed to reducing traffic congestion by completing the extension of Newport Avenue to Edinger.
  • To ensure that Tustin receives its fair share of tax dollars, I work with county, state, and federal officials.
Protect Property Values
  • Our parks must be maintained. I have fought for the renovation of older parks along with opening new parks.
  • As a member of the Base Closure Task Force, I have worked for over 12 years to ensure that the development of Tustin Legacy enhances our quality of life. I fought for single level homes in the plans of Tustin Legacy.
Keep Our Neighborhoods Safe
  • Most of the crimes committed in Tustin affect our property - our homes, cars, and other valuables. I worked with the South Coast Air Quality Management District to secure funds for the Tustin Police Department's Bike Patrol Program. We have four new bikes at no cost to Tustin taxpayers, reducing air pollution and increasing the safety of Tustin residents.
  • When I noticed a traffic safety hazard, I made sure that Red Hill Avenue was restriped at Irvine Blvd.
