Fox Theatre Restoration.

By Ralph G. Baker

Candidate for Member, City Council; City of Fullerton

This information is provided by the candidate
The Fullerton City Council has tried for six years to solve this problem with little or no results.
In the six years that I have attended the meeting of the Fullerton City Council I have seen our city government try to solve the problem of the Fox Theatre. I am not satisfied with thier results. We are dealing with an absentee landlord who happens to be a millionaire. The city council gave him $25,000 of our tax money. He skipped off to Paris, France. We need help and I am in favor of reaching out to the county, state, and federal government to get the help that we need. I am very impressed by the group that is trying to restore the Fox Theatre. They have set a good example of how to get involved with our city government the right way. They have expanded thier mailing list and raised financial support. Several members of that group are serving on the committees of our city government, this will get the job done every time! I have seen our city government handle redevelopment projects larger and more expensine than this. I want this problem solved so that our city council can go on to the next order of business. I would also like to get our $25,000 back if possible.
