English and math skills for students.

By Ralph G. Baker

Candidate for Board Member; Fullerton School District

This information is provided by the candidate
I will support any effort that will give students the English and math skills that they need. I will oppose anything that would divert money of time from the goal of giving students the English and math skills that they need.
As a member of the Libertarian Party and the Citizens for a Sound Economy I have been concerned for years about social objectives in our public education system. As a student at Cal State University, Fullerton I have learned that a citizen can get a university degree without knowing one word of a foriegn language, What students do need is English and math skills. I will oppose busing, bilingal education, and any other social objective that diverts money and time from the goal of giving students the English and math skills that they need.
