Successes and Future Plans for Marin Republican Party

By Morgan R. Kelley

Candidate for Member, Republican Party County Central Committee; County of Marin; Supervisorial District 2

This information is provided by the candidate
In the past year we have made significant progress for the Republican Party. We have established our first web site to communicate about events and elections important to Marin Republicans at http://www.maringop.org. We have produced the first political/business plan and established a Finance Committee focused on fundraising. We held six successful events that have increased awareness and involement in the Party with larger numbers and with people who have not attended Marin Republican events. We procured a donation of a new headquarters office that provides needed phone and meeting facilities to support our activities. We have established a large and well-organized get-out-the-vote team that includes phone banks and precienct organization. We have identified several top-notch Republican candidates for State and local elections in 2004. Our efforts have increased Republican Registrations in our county and Republican Candidates gained 44% of Marin County votes in the Recall Election! The next 2 year term is critical as we launch an improved community outreach program, and active fundraising effort to support our candidates, register Republicans and maintain get-out-the vote efforts. Our main goal in the next 2 years is to raise enough so that we can maintain a professional full time manager to run day to day operations. I am asking for your support and your vote.

Thank you.
