Council Member; City of Hayward

I have enjoyed serving the people of Hayward, leading the downtown revitalization effort, creating the youth commission, funding programs to help families and seniors, creating more open space, supporting the building of new schools and bringing more than 7 million dollars in new revenue to the city.

As your Councilmember, I have worked to bring back a sense of pride to our community, improve our neighborhoods, reduce crime and increase economic growth. These efforts have resulted in more jobs, additional public safety personnel, improved streets and more resources for our schools and parks.

I want to continue working for you, continue being the kind of elected representative who listens to and respects the uniqueness of individual ideas and opinions- someone who works hard to bring opposing points of view together in the best interest of the larger community.

Our vision for Hayward's future must be built on open and responsive government, the ability to make tough decisions and get things done, mutual respect, and a commitment to improving the quality of life for all of our residents.

I welcome your support.
