We can run the district on alternative energy sources
After visiting Oroville Sanitary Commission and doing indepth research on alternative energy sources, it is my conclusion that the Las Gallinas Valley Sanitary District can be run almost wholey on it's own energy resources. Savings to the district could be as much as $350,000.00 annually. With rebates from the state renewable enery resources program, cost for a system would be eligible for rebate of about 33%. This program has limited funding and will run out if the district does not take advantage as soon as possible.
