Arguments For Measure I
ARGUMENT IN FAVOR OF MEASURE I

Last November the voters approved a $36 tax per improved parcel to fund Mesa Park operating expenses. The expected revenue from the parcel tax is approximately $24,000 per year. The annual operating budget for Mesa Park is also approximately $24,000 per year. Measure I is required to satisfy the Constitutional requirement that the voters approve this appropriations limit, i.e., to confirm that Mesa Park's operating budget shall be in an amount equal to the revenues generated by the parcel tax. Please vote YES ON MEASURE I to satisfy this requirement.

s/ Jack Siedman
Chairman, Mesa Park Board
