Candidate for
Board Member; Southern Kern Unified School District

My husband and I have lived in Rosamond for twenty (20) years. For the last ten (10) years our two children have been attending the schools in Southern Kern Unified School District. In these past ten (10) years I have become actively involved in our children's education and schools. These involvements consist of PTA member, school volunteer, School Site Council member, District Budget Advisory Committee, Tropico Music Boosters board member and were all of the above started from is being a Room Mom in the classroom. This experience has prepared me to serve on the Southern Kern Unified School District "Board of Trustees".

Teachers, classified staff, parents and administrators must work together as a dynamic team in order to produce successful students who can contribute to our community and society. My only agenda is to help educate our children to be successful members of our community.
