I look forward to soliciting opinions, ideas, concerns and challenges at every school site by visiting and speaking with members of the administration, teachers, parent volunteers and classified employees.
I want to find out what road blocks to communication exist. Are all district employee's working together positively to make decisions that are in the best interest of the students? Over the years I have seen teachers and school site administrators throw their hands in the air dealing with simple issues made complicated by bureaucratic, entrenched, decision making. What can we do to help parents, administrators, teachers, classified employees and students understand why a decision is made? This district does a great job, it has great people. We have the opportunity to open the lines of communication.
