ROLLY RECIO Age: 55

Occupation: Small Business Owner

Education and Qualifications:

I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.

As a parent, I appreciate the invaluable education of my two children through their elementary and high school years in public schools. Having served in PTA committees, I empathize with the everyday concerns of parents about their children's education in a system that is facing major challenges.

As a community volunteer for over 25 years, with a keen interest on youth development, I have served in many county, city and school commissions. While serving on the County Parks and Recreation and the Public Library Commissions, I helped strengthen relationships between agencies and school districts to improve community access and use of parks and libraries. I also served in a committee that recommended modernization and improvement of all high school facilities.

As a small business owner, I understand the problems of managing resources in order to grow an enterprise. I am constantly involved in seeking and implementing various solutions to respond to my clients needs and in meeting their demands.

With these experiences, I believe that I can effectively represent the various concerns of the Jefferson Union High School District community and contribute to its development in these challenging times.

/s/ Rolito Recio
