Biographical Highlights
  • Occupation: Business Owner
  • Worked in Medical Research at SRI, Stanford University and University of Southern California for over 25 years
  • Retired as a Lab Manager in 1989
  • Started the only environmental justice organization in East Palo Alto to deal with land use, environmental and toxic waste recycling issues
  • East Palo Alto resident/voter for thirty-eight (38) years
  • Served the Community as a tireless volunteer since 1964
  • Have attended most City Council and Planning Commission Meetings since 1983

Top Priorities if Elected
  • Give the City back to the People, us. Redevelopment to benefit our community members. Developers must pay, not the taxpayers!
  • We continue to be deficient in Open Space and Parks. If elected, I intent to move resource management up on the list of action items.
  • Affordable housing in East Palo Alto can be tackled fairly with planning and action. Maintain and protect the rights of renters.
