Whether you are voting for or against secession, you will want to vote for someone who cares. Since I have lived in my Winnetka home in proposed District 9 for almost forty years, I am concerned about the future of the New Valley City.
Vote for LINNEA E. EADES for Councilmember District 9.

Liberal leadership is needed if we leave Los Angeles. Instant Run-off Voting/Clean Money Campaigning are musts. Nuturing natural resources & recycling add stability. Neighborhood Councils must be empowered to force action. Employee fairness in treatment and wages are vital. Art, music & cultural activities/facilities are supported.

Educational improvements (as no Board of Educ.) must exist.

Expand street cleaning, tree trimming & Dept. Animal Reg. Affordable housing & programs to rehabilitate the homeless. Deficit spending is not acceptable nor are service cuts. Earned prisoner monies must help people not corp. profits. Services and utilities must be run of, for, & by people.

You can vote for a candidate that represents all the above ideas. Vote for LINNEA E. EADES. See you at the polls on November 5, 2002.
