Teaching Experience:

Twenty-nine years in public and private education. Grades
1st thru 8th. Sixteen years in Palmdale School District,
1986-2002. Served on the School Leadership Committee for
3 years, on the School Site Council for 2 years and as a
Student Council Advisor for 3 years. Served as the Chair-
person for the Bilingual Teachers Committee for 5 years.
I also served as Coordinator for the English Language
Association Committee for 4 years. As a teacher at
Juniper Intermediate School I received the Outstanding
Teacher Service Award in 1990-1991. I was also awarded
the Excellence in Teaching Award for 7th and 8th grades
while at Juniper.
