Smart Voter

NO MORE CHAD!

By March Fong Eu

Candidate for Secretary of State; State of California; Democratic Party

This information is provided by the candidate
As Secretary of State, I will ban the use of Florida-style pre-scored punchcards in California before the next presidential election. Any delay in outlawing these archaic systems is unconscionable.
I am determined to ensure that California never makes history the way Florida did at the election last November. We must take steps now to prevent a Florida fiasco.

One major solution is the elimination of pre-scored punchcard voting systems that were at the heart of the Florida problems.

I am committed to leading California into the future in terms of the way we run elections in this country, taking advantage of the technology that has emerged since I was Secretary of State.
