Government is Responsible for National Defense
The preamble of our Constitution states that our Federal Government was created to "establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense and promote the general welfare" among other things. Our military needs stronger support from Congress. We will win this war and our resolve as citizens must be equal to the task. I lived through World War II and understand the effects of war. Here in Southern California we must be vigilant. Strong support for our defense is our duty as Americans. It is also vital to our local economy since it determines our employment rates, our housing prices and much more.
