I have the ability to interact and prepare necessary investigative documents for other enforcement and regulatory agencies. I presently interact with Coroners throughout the State of California. I submit investigative cases for administrative actions against establishment licenses, and licensees with the State Attorney General's Office, and interact with District Attorneys in criminal actions.

1. I will bring to the Coroner's office my knowledge of the State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs Operational Procedures that regulates the death care industry, and working with consumers and their complaints against the Death Care Industry.

2. Larger scope of networking, improve investigations, and investigative reports, knowledge of interacting with DOJ, Coroners, AG's, DA's, other Regulatory Agencies, and Health Departments throughout California.

3. Seek to increase an already stressed Coroner's budget due to the anticipated increases of expenditures. The California Death Care Industry is gearing up for the largest population ever of baby boomers that have now reached an age of 56. There are now hardly enough employees representing the Coroner's Office to maintain and provide a fully rounded continued needs for a high level of service to the community.

4. Seek Federal Aid to develop and obtain funds/supplies for expansion of a needed disaster program.

5. Implement outreach awareness programs to before death/death/after death, Hospice, Senior Centers, Clergy, Care Centers, etc.

6. Petition to change the time for last seen by a doctor to help expedite disposition from 20 days to 6 months. Returning the responsibility of Doctors to being responsible for patient deaths causes which would create a savings to the budget of the Coroner.

7. I will continue to develop and implement changes to keep the Coroner's Office to be recognized as a State of the Art facility.

8. I will enhance the open door policy already set forth by the late Bud Moorman.

9. I will follow the tradition of independence and integrity set forth by former Coroners Paul Jensen and Bud Moorman.
